  讲座题目：The Effects of Community Choice Aggregation on Energy Behavior: Evidence from California

  讲座摘要：Using household-level data and the rollout of Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) programs in California, this study examines how collective clean energy provision affects household behavior. We find that while CCA enrollment has little short-term effect on electricity use, it reduces rooftop solar installations by about 10 percent——providing evidence that public clean energy supply can crowd out private investment. Theoretically, we show this crowding-out can be explained by a moral licensing mechanism, in which access to greener grid power lowers households’ incentive to make costly private clean investments. The results offer micro-evidence on the interaction between public and private decarbonization efforts, with implications for climate policy design.

  主讲人简介：王英姿，清华大学能源环境经济研究所博士后研究员，2023年获得美国加州大学戴维斯分校经济学博士学位。她的研究领域涵盖应用微观经济学、产业组织与能源环境政策评估，成果发表于《Journal of Environmental Economics and Management》等国际权威期刊。目前，她致力于运用实证经济学方法，研究低碳转型中的政府治理、企业战略与家庭行为，为相关政策制定提供经验证据与决策支持。
